Get involved beyond your seat! Volunteer jobs are available in many areas of Redwood Curtain's operations. It's a chance for you to have some fun, meet new people and help Redwood Curtain be the best it can be!

Some jobs require a regular commitment, others are "as needed." Take a look at the following list and see if the right assignment is there for you. If so, email us and tell us what sounds good to you along with your phone number. We'll be happy to give you a call when we need you!

House Manager
Get to the theatre about an hour and a half before the show starts, get the theatre and lobby ready for each night's performance. Train the ushers in taking tickets, assisting patrons and emergency procedures. This job requires a commitment to an entire production - 13 performances. OR be available for a once-in-while house managing job for a special event, weekend performance, or benefit.

Ushers
Ushers are Redwood Curtain's front lines. We need friendly people willing to come early to the theatre, take tickets, hand out programs, and assure our patrons' comfort and safety.

Poster Masters
Posters need to be delivered to sites all over town before every production. How many can you handle? 10? 20? Pick up a pile of posters plus a list of places and give Redwood Curtain's Marketing department a huge hand.

Mailing Assistants
Each season we send out our season brochures, newsletters prior to every production, postcards announcing upcoming events, and other mailings. Wanna give us a hand labeling, organizing and stuffing envelopes?

Special Events Volunteers
Like to help organize and plan events? Love to throw a party? Give us a hand planning and organizing fundraising events throughout the season.

Set builders/strikers
A few healthy assistants with carpentry skills, painting skills, or just a willingness to learn are needed to help our technical director build the sets over a four week period, then dismantle the set in one day after the production closes.
