Special Sponsorships

Sponsor an actor. Each actor gets paid $200 for the run of a show. Become an actor sponsor by donating $200 to hire an actor - you can even choose which actor and production you'd like to sponsor. You'll get a thank you note from that actor and all the benefits mentioned above for that level.

Sponsor the newsletter. It costs us about $500 to print and mail each Curtain Raiser newsletter, which we send out five times per year to our mailing list of about 1200. Become a newsletter sponsor by donating that $500, and get a big thank you in that edition, along with the benefits mentioned above for that level.

Sponsor a set. The cost of building a set varies from production to production, but usually clocks in at about $750. Become a set sponsor by choosing an upcoming production you would like to be responsible for, and donate $750 to cover the costs. Get a prominent thank you in the playbill, along with the benefits mentioned above for that level.

Sponsor a script. Every play chosen belongs to someone, who must be paid for the rights to produce it. Most plays cost us about $1000 in royalties for our usual 4-week run. (Musicals can cost anywhere from $3000-4000, by the way.) Become a script sponsor by choosing an upcoming production you would like to help produce and donate $1000 to cover the royalties. Get your name placed prominently in the playbill and on the poster as a show sponsor, along with the benefits named above for that level.

Sponsor a show. Feeling really generous? The entire production budget for each show, including paying actors, technicians and designers, building the sets, costumes, props, and printing the playbills is about $6000. Be a show sponsor and get your name prominently in the playbill, on the poster, and in the newsletter, along with the benefits mentioned above for that level.
